The Institute of Directors in Sussex has set up a web site to enable its members to share information.
The branch is confident members will be able to increase the wealth creation opportunities for the region by gaining access to resources, which will help extend their knowledge base.
The web site follows an independent survey commissioned by the Sussex branch. Site editor Leonard Stall said: "The results clearly identified the requirement for new media to fit in with our members' lifestyles and business practices.
"As the site develops, it will provide an ideal medium for promoting the branch to local business leaders.
"Not only will it keep members up-to-date with the latest events, it will also highlight issues which could affect the operation of their businesses.
"The site will give our members the opportunity to vote online on local issues as well as booking tickets for seminars, company visits and other types of networking events."
The site also provides a direct link to the main IoD web site.
