Hastings rider Martin Markowski has won the senior Goodwood Circuit Race League.
The League is based over 16 races held at Goodwood motor circuit and attracts top British and foreign competitors.
Markowski (VC Bayeux), whose brother Mark is a former Sussex road race champion, clinched the title by taking sixth place in the final race, which was won by New Zealand international Gordon McCauley.
Markowski said: "All I had to do in the final event was to finish with the leaders. I had a successful start to the league in May so I decided to make winning it my main aim for the season.
"But now I've done that I want to spend more time with my family. We have two young children and I may take a break from the sport altogether next year."
Ray Venis, the 74-year-old Horsham veteran, has also scored a major success. He won the League of Veteran Racing Cyclists over-70s national track championship at the Calshot indoor track.
Venis (Twentieth Century Airports) will now ride in the World Masters Track Championships at Manchester next month.
Friston rider James Dear (In Gear) briefly topped the result board at the Hants RC 30-mile time trial at Fontwell.
He clocked a fast 1hr.4min.19sec but was relegated to second place when Hampshire rider Steve Walkling (St Raphael) returned in 1hr.3min.38sec.
Max Norrell, fourth in 1hr.6min.19sec, led Eastbourne Rovers to the team win backed by Michael Davey (1hr.8min.53sec) and Steve Frame (1hr.9min.17sec).
Steve Dennis (East Grinstead) recorded 1hr.50min.1sec for second place in the Norwood Paragon 50-mile event.
Hastings rider Peter Tadros (Interbike) finished second in the Finsbury Park 25 with 52min.17sec and Eastbourne rider Jon Sharples (In Gear) was third in 52min.20sec.
The final Hove Park circuit race meeting takes place tomorrow. Juveniles start at 6.30pm and seniors at 7pm.
The South East senior road race championship on Sunday starts from the Goodwood motor circuit at 11.30am.
