I was appalled to read the hostility towards this country by the anonymous Jewish correspondent.

No country was more generous to the Jews than the UK at the beginning of the 20th Century, when we allowed them not only to settle here in freedom but also to retain and maintain their alien culture and religion and capture the commanding heights of our financial institutions.

I can only think this correspondent is too young to remember how the Balfour Declaration brought about the creation of the State of Israel, which successive Jewish governments abused by extending ever further into Palestine with their "settlements".
