The highly popular Burgess Hill Golf Centre stages the fourth visit for 60 South Region professionals for the PGA Short Course Championship.
Preceding the event, next Thursday and Friday, is an opportunity for juniors to taste competition while the amateurs have the course to themselves for their medal on the Monday.
The pros play 18 holes on each of the two days and among the entrants are former Ryder Cup player Steve Richardson, Glenn Ralph, ex-Sussex Professional champion, Tour veteran Bill Longmuir and Paul Lyons one of the leading pros in the county and Short Course champion in 2000.
Last year, Steven Cowle (Blacknest) won the £1,000 first prize with a 36-hole aggregate of 99 or nine under par for the tricky track.
