A 25-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after a paragliding accident in West Sussex.
He was gliding above Steyning Bowl when he came down shortly after 4.30pm yesterday, suffering a suspected broken ankle.
An air ambulance had to be scrambled amid fears that normal emergency vehicles would be unable to reach him.
He was taken to Worthing Hospital.
