I see the Brighton Police have their priorities right, saying (The Argus, August 16) how much they enjoyed the Pride parade - laughing, smiling and joking with the revellers - and this easy-going attitude was a big hit.
They even had a recruitment tent in Preston Park, which had to be manned.
A member of my family was burgled more than a month ago and is still waiting for information about what is happening.
The WPC informed my family she was going on holiday and then on to nights, so nothing more has been done.
So what are the police for? Dishing out parking fines and watching parades? Not a bad job, with a uniform that makes them feel good and a nice car to run about in.
