League champions Alfriston will meet Selmeston in the Cuckmere Valley League's Tommy Lusted Tournament final.

Lee Poulton hit 52 and Matthew Jackson added 34 as Alfriston totalled 178-8 in their semi-final against Blackboys. Colin Albright hit 37 in reply but Blackboys were dismissed for 136 with Ali Batchelor taking 3-26.

Richard Ellinor hit 57 as Firle posted 188-6 but Selmeston passed that total with four wickets to spare thanks to Mick Baldwin's 54 and 32 not out by David Clark.

The final takes place at Firle this Saturday (2.00).

The Plate final at Denton will be between Nutley and Bells Yew Green. Ian Ritchie (4-7) and Alan Poulter (45 not out) were the chief protagonists as Nutley won by six wickets against Preston Village, who were bowled out for 105.

Bells Yew Green won by 43 runs against their own second team, who were dismissed for 140. For the winners, Andy Brooks hit 44 and Dave Hart 40.
