Parents worried about their children going back to school can phone a helpline.
Parentline Plus, a national charity, has set up the 24-hour line for information and help in Sussex before the new term begins next month.
The charity has reported 40 per cent of calls to their helpline are from parents and carers anxious about their child's schooling.
Chief executive Dorit Braun said: "The start of the school term can be very difficult for families.
"Parents may feel sadness that extended time together is over, mixed with relief that they have a break from providing all-day care.
"Children may feel excited at a new term and being back with friends or apprehensive at what awaits."
The freephone number is 0808 800 2222.
