Amanda Roocroft, who lives in East Sussex, is one of Britain's most exciting sopranos.
She most recently appeared at Glyndebourne in the title role of Janacek's dramatic opera, Jenufa.
She appears in recital with pianist Malcolm Martineau with a collection of songs by Faure, Brahms, Duparc, Richard Strauss and William Walton.
In November, she makes her Wagner debut at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, in Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg, singing the role of Eva slong with Sussex-based conductor Mark Wigglesworth, also making his Wagner debut.
