Ken Dodd started his career in Blackpool, supporting the legendary comedy duo Morecombe and Wise.
A few years later he was topping the bill himself. He went on to host numerous TV shows, including The Ken Dodd Show, Doddy's Music Box and Ken Dodd's Showbiz.
Principally a stand-up comedian, Dodd has also had a successful career in singing.
His hit, Tears, spent five weeks at Number One in 1965.
Now in his 70s, he's still packing them in at theatres up and down the country with his songs, jokes and those infamous tickling sticks.
Tickets cost £12.50, £13.50 and £14.50. Call 01903 206206.
