Ann Collard has had more than her fair share of tragedy and trouble in recent months.
Her son, Danny, died from a knife wound to his heart and his grandmother died ten days after she heard of his death.
Then Ann had her wallet stolen by thieves while shopping at Brighton Marina.
It contained precious photographs of her son and mother, together with her autistic son, Joseph.
Now the villains have had a pang of conscience and returned the pictures.
But they have not bothered to return more than £200 and all her credit cards which they stole as well.
These thieves have shown some remorse but they have still committed a crime. Anyone who saw the incident on August 23 should not hesitate to tell police.
The arrest and conviction of these crooks would give some satisfaction to a woman who must sometimes feel that life could hardly give her any more knocks.
