The increasing number of heroin addicts, street drinkers and beggars on the streets of Brighton and Hove is far more likely to discourage people from coming to the city than a £2 toll.
It's about time the city council came up with a coherent strategy on this issue.
Personally, I couldn't agree more with the transport proposals: A clean, modern and integrated transport system could only enhance the city.
Sustainability is about totally changing our attitudes and lifestyles, not subtly adapting our current ones. Cars are so last century.
