A school reunion club has closed down because its members are too old.
The Kate Coast Society, which used to have 70 members, will no longer hold its regular meetings to remember the days when Miss Coast was head of Worthing High School for Girls from 1908 to 1939.
Phyllis Adam, one of Miss Coast's former pupils, said: "It's closed because we're all getting on a bit. Most of the members are in their 90s and it's impossible to get about."
The group used to meet each year at Worthing High School in South Farm Road, Worthing, and any money raised went towards the running of the society.
Funds remaining in the club's coffers will now be donated to Worthing High School.
