The Argus has saved the life of Argus the kitten once before - and now we are asking our readers to do it again.
Sharon Spencer found tiny Argus and his twin brother Ken abandoned in a box of rubbish three years ago.
Being the smaller of the two, Argus's life was in danger.
The vet said he only survived because he was wrapped up in a copy of the newspaper.
But a second disaster has befallen him. He went missing two weeks ago.
Sharon has distributed more than 2,000 posters around her neighbourhood but no one has seen him.
Sharon, who adopted Ken and Argus after finding them, has now asked us to help.
Argus is described as black, very friendly and with golden eyes.
Sharon, 28, a web designer from Belgrave Street, Brighton, said: "I thought he had had enough bad luck when I found him dumped but now we just want him home.
"He disappeared on August 17 and we haven't seen him since. Ken is really miserable without him. He just sits in the garden, even when it's raining, and won't move.
"I still call both cats every night in the hope Argus will come back. He has never been away for this amount of time."
Sharon contacted rescue centres, the RSPCA and sent thousands of posters to residents.
Anyone who thinks they may have seen Argus should call Sharon on 07780 688180.
