The hunt for the Butlins holiday camp sex attacker is continuing today after a man arrested in connection with the attacks was released.
Police said a 28-year-old man they were holding over four attacks on women in and around Butlins in Bognor was released without charge yesterday morning.
The man was arrested in Troon, Scotland, on Wednesday and brought to Sussex the following day.
Detectives were granted an extra 36 hours by magistrates on Saturday to question him.
A Sussex Police spokesman said he had been released without charge and inquiries were continuing.
The sex attacker struck four times last month and has been dubbed the Beast of Bognor.
One woman said she was raped and three others reported they were indecently assaulted in or near the holiday resort.
All were in their early 20s.
Police refused to confirm if the man arrested was Romanian asylum seeker Petru Samfira, who had worked for a sub-contractor at Rolls-Royce in Goodwood and lived at a caravan park in Bognor.
The hunt for him was called off on Wednesday.
