Bobby Zamora remains doubtful for the trip to The New Den on Saturday as Albion's injury problems show little sign of easing.

The goal machine has not been included in the England under-21 squad for Friday night's friendly against Yugoslavia due to the knee ligament strain picked up against Norwich 17 days ago.

"They (England) knew he has been out injured and they wanted to know the state of play," said boss Martin Hinshelwood.

"We don't want to stop Bobby playing for his country. We are proud that he does, but he hasn't kicked a ball since Norwich.

"He is running and twisting and turning, but if he is available he is available for me on Saturday."

Paul Kitson (hamstring) and Michel Kuipers (groin) are also struggling to be fit to face Millwall.

Gary Hart is definitely ruled out with an ankle injury.

"It's a difficult situation," Hinshelwood said. "We want them all back, but we cannot afford to rush them back. We have got to make sure when they come back they are right and are not missing for another two or three weeks.

"Harty had an injection in his ankle on Friday and has been told not to do a great deal, so he will be a couple of weeks. The others are under intensive treatment.

"Michel's had a couple of scans and it seems his groin and thigh problems are related to his back."

A kick on the foot against Portsmouth prevented Daniel Marney from training and Geoff Pitcher has joined Achilles victim Hinshelwood on crutches.

The midfielder hurt his right heel in the pre-season friendly at Crawley, then aggravated it in the reserves last week.
