A boy on inline skates was knocked to the ground in a hit-and-run crash.
The 14-year-old was skating along Fish Lane towards Barrack Lane, in Aldwick, Bognor, when he stopped at Chawkmare Coppice to cross the road.
A young man with a shaved head in a white L-registration Ford Fiesta pulled up at the junction and beckoned for the young boy to cross.
As the boy crossed, the driver accelerated and collided with the boy, who suffered cuts and bruising in the incident.
There were four other young men of a similar age - 17 or 18 - in the car.
