Friends and colleagues have paid tribute to a mother and her 21-year-old son killed in a car crash.
Arlene Scott, 50, from Arundel, and university student Guy died after their Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Mazda 323 on the A283, south of Chiddingfold, Surrey, on Thursday.
Welsh-born Mrs Scott had worked as a home care manager for West Sussex social services for 25 years. She was a talented artist known locally for her paintings.
Guy was about to start his final year in a drama degree at Exeter University.
He had just returned from a three-month Operation Raleigh expedition to Africa carrying out community, environmental and adventure projects for charity.
He had also taken part in a street theatre day as part of the Arundel Festival directed by his brother Joel, 24.
A county council spokeswoman said: "Arlene was a lovely person who was passionate about her job and well-respected by colleagues and clients alike."
Exeter drama lecturer Jane Milling said: "We are very shocked by this news.
"Guy was enormous fun. His comic inspirations made every class lively and he was developing into a great performer. He was also a generous, kind and supportive friend to many in the department and university.
"We will miss him very badly."
The Mazda driver, a 77-year-old man from West Sussex, suffered neck injuries and was taken to the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.
