Drivers will toast their success in a battle over Mid Sussex parking fees with a communal breakfast of bacon butties.
Tariffs have been halved after a car park boycott cost the district council thousands of pounds in lost revenue.
Seven months ago the council put up charges from £1.50 to £4 for car park stays over four hours.
The increase caused an outcry from local traders and businesses.
Last month there was a climb-down when more than 3,000 people signed a petition calling for the rate to be reduced.
Now owners leaving their cars in long-stay car parks for more than four hours will pay £2.
Steven Gauge, of traders' group Sussex Enterprise, said: "The credit goes to the hundreds of people who heard our plea and signed the petition or wrote to the council."
Mr Gauge said they would be celebrating the U-turn with a party in one of the car parks on Thursday morning.
He said: "We want to organise a little celebration and give out bacon rolls to people who come to park."
Under the new system, the price of season tickets will also be halved.
Weekly parking tickets will cost £10, a monthly ticket £38, a quarterly ticket £110 and a yearly ticket will be £375.
