The makers of the uniforms worn in the Harry Potter movies are hoping to win a costume contract for the third film.
Family-run business Charles Kirk and Co made the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry jumpers and scarves for Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone and the soon-to-be released Chamber Of Secrets movies.
The company, based in Goring Street, Goring, Worthing, is aiming to take the contract for the young wizard's third big screen adventure, The Prisoner Of Azkaban, and has sent knitwear samples to Warner Brothers.
Charles Kirk and Co's 100-strong team of machinists have made more than 1,000 scarves for the films since 2000 and managing director Charles Horton cannot wait to see them on the big screen again.
He said: "Rather than it being a lucrative contract, it's more the prestige of being involved in something like this."
