Zippy and George from cult Seventies kids' show Rainbow brought a ray of sunshine to crowds at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton yesterday.
The pair were plugging their forthcoming single It's A Rainbow on local radio and met fans in the city.
They were interviewed by independent stations Southern FM and Juice FM in a whistle-stop visit to the seaside.
Zippy told our reporter: "I love Brighton, me. It's one of my very favourite places.
"It's full of clubs and we have appeared at Creation, which was great."
George said: "I love the sea, though I found it a bit rough and blowy this morning."
MC Zippy and DJ George's single, which samples the Rainbow theme tune, is released on December 2.
