Albion boss Steve Coppell is still waiting to run the rule over Cameroon trialist Roger Pandong after the reserves clash with Northampton was called off during the week.
Coppell has given Pandong, an 18-year-old left-sided midfielder, a month to impress at the Withdean Stadium.
Pandong has this week been training with the rest of the squad, but the weather has so far stopped Coppell and his management team from seeing him in action.
Coppell now seems likely to see Pandong play for the first time when Brighton's second string play in the Sussex Senior Cup next Tuesday.
