Albion have backed their fans against claims of racial abuse allegedly directed at a referee and player in the Sheffield United game at Withdean last month.
The club's interim report to the FA has refuted allegations by ref Phil Prosser that he and Sheffield United winger Peter Ndlovu were racially abused at the end of the match on October 19.
Chief executive Martin Perry said: "There is no evidence whatsoever to support any allegation of racial abuse at that game and we have made that absolutely clear in that interim report."
United manager Neil Warnock claimed coins were hurled at him and his staff. Perry admitted: "Unfortunately missiles were thrown and people did threaten at the back of the dugouts. Only action by police and stewards prevented a more serious incident."
