I was most interested in Peter Wilson's comments (Letters, November 16).
While serving in the ATS, I decided to spend a leave in Scotland, five days of that being in Edinburgh.
I went to see Adelaide Hall at the theatre, which proved very rewarding as she autographed the programme for me.
I kept this from 1943 until recently. Somehow, I seem to have mislaid it but I have very good memories of this lovely singer.
