On behalf of the Royal British Legion, I thank the traders and volunteers of Woodingdean who raised a total of £1,292 for the annual Poppy Appeal in spite of the loss of three volunteers since last year.
We are hoping for some new recruits next year.
In contrast, I offer no thanks to Brighton and Hove City Council for its non-delivery of collection boxes for waste paper in this area, which should have been done last Monday.
-Norman Davis, Selhurst Road, Woodingdean
