So, she is dead. It's terrible to say but I hope Myra Hindley suffered. She was surely one of the most notorious and noxious women of our time.
The only comfort is that at least she remained in prison for life and Ian Brady will remain for the rest of his. Unfortunately, the death penalty had been repealed before their sentences were passed.
There have been numerous cases of child murder and cruelty, many of which defy belief. Now people can view cruelty, murder and sexual abuse via the internet (albeit illegally). Why? How can this be?
Make the punishment fit the crime. Jail these paedophiles and perverts and keep them out of harm's way.
Now we will have Maxine Carr and Ian Huntley jailed for whatever length of time some out-of-touch judge will deem suitable. Those people have no right to live.
