A review of learning opportunities to improve rural businesses was announced by Department of Rural Affairs' ministers Alun Michael and Lord Whitty.
A team from the department will manage the project, which will involve key partners such as the Countryside Agency, Lantra, the Learning and Skills Council and others responsible for the assessment of learning needs and the design and delivery of learning opportunities.
It will encompass all groups working in rural areas, with particular focus on people entering and leaving rural industries.
