A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court in connection with an alleged police shooting at a railway station.
Tony Willard, 25, appeared before Hastings magistrates yesterday charged with possessing an imitation firearm and using an imitation firearm to resist arrest.
Willard, of Chiltern Drive, Hastings, was remanded in custody until December 5, when he will appear at Lewes Crown Court.
The Police Complaints Authority has launched a routine inquiry after shots were fired by police during the alleged incident.
