I was delighted to see The Sentinel's report on Goring Gap and resum of the changes that have taken place to the village itself, most of which are within the last two generations.
We must not allow any further encroachment into this strategic Gap, one of only two or three remaining in the whole of Sussex.
We have a Goring Gap Preservation Trust to protect the Gap which monitors any potential threat that might arise and initiate any appropriate action.
Having seen the development in Roundstone Lane, just a mile or two along the road, and noted the way the countryside there has been desecrated, we must ensure it does not happen in or near Goring Gap.
