I wish I knew how Roger French of Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company obtained his award for running such a good service in the city.
For some people, it might be good but, for others, it is absolutely horrendous.
Mr French fails to recognise many people residing in the Queens Park area would like to be able to use the No 81 service which at present is practically non-existent.
Five times during the past two weeks I have had to wait more than an hour in Churchill Square for this service. Some days it has been cold, wet and very windy and not all the bus stops have a shelter.
Why cannot the people of the Queens Park area be given a decent service? All one sees are plenty of buses going to both Whitehawk and Moulsecoomb, some of which are half empty.
When, eventually, a No 81 does come, it is so full once it leaves Churchill Square no one else along the route has a chance of getting on.
In any case, the area is underserviced with, supposedly, one bus every 15 minutes. Why not a bus every ten for a change?
