I could not help thinking how nice it was to see the picture of the former president of the US Jimmy Carter accepting the Nobel Peace Prize (The Argus December 11).
How true what he said: "The world has become a very dangerous place."
He also urged people to work for peace, for it is clear wars only cause more death and destruction.
