A woman lay unconscious in a car park for an hour after thieves hit her over her head and stole her shopping and cash.
The 27-year-old victim was returning to her car after shopping in Crawley when she was attacked by two men in the NCP car park in Parkside, near to Memorial Gardens.
Detective Constable Heidi Duffin, of Crawley CID, said the woman was badly shaken by the robbery and was sent to hospital for checks.
The two men are described as either Asian or Moroccan, both wearing dark clothing, one with black curtains-style hair and the other wearing a baseball cap. One may also have had a gold tooth.
