Albion boss Steve Coppell has warned his side to expect a backlash from Derby and Malcolm Christie at Pride Park tomorrow.
The Rams are still smarting over their 1-0 defeat at Withdean last month, when Christie was sent-off for two bookable offences.
Coppell said: "It's easier to play against ten men than 11. That was a big advantage for us. We actually did take advantage in the end and got the three points, but I know they were upset by it.
"They will be seeking revenge. They had a great victory last week against Watford, so it's going to be a hard game but one that we feel we are capable of getting something from.
"I've got a team at the moment that are very determined. They want to go there and maintain the improvement they've had. We've got off the bottom on goals scored and now we want to prove we are capable of getting out of the bottom three."
Christie, Derby's top scorer, and centre half Chris Riggott are England under-21 colleagues of Bobby Zamora.
The Albion ace, fresh from his sixth goal of the season in Tuesday's 1-1 home draw with Ipswich, said: "They are both good lads. Malcolm is a top professional.
"No doubt he will be thinking about getting the three points for Derby and Chris is another great player, so it will be a tough game for me and Graham (Barrett).
" We've just got to keep doing what we have been doing, grinding out results and performances."
Simon Rodger (foot) and Gary Hart (back) are both available after missing the Ipswich match, while the replacement for the suspended Paul Watson rests between Adam Hinshelwood and Guy Butters.
Derby striker Deon Burton has re-signed for Portsmouth, so Izale McLeod is expected to join Christie and Lee Morris up front.
Coppell is confident Zamora will be with Albion for the rest of the relegation battle, even once the transfer window re-opens in January for Premiership clubs.
"I think it's fair to say if anyone was lining Bobby up the deal would be very close to being done now and I repeat I've had no phone calls specifically about it.
"Bobby is putting an awful lot into this club.
"I think he knows given the finances of football these days that if a Premiership clubs decides to buy him they will buy him and there is probably little that we will be able to do to stop it, but it's a non-issue, a kind of Cherie Blair thing."
