A skate and sports park had its grand opening in Eastbourne at the weekend.
The Xtreme Supreme recreation ground, off Larkspur Drive, features ramps for in-line skating, skateboarding and cycling, along with football, basketball and hockey pitches.
Other features include a lake for wildlife and fishing, landscaped pathways and cycle routes.
Councillor Mike Thompson, Eastbourne Borough Council cabinet spokesman for culture, said he hoped local youngsters took full advantage of the park.
The park was funded by £100,000 from the council and a total of £25,000 from the Crime Reduction Partnership, Communities Against Drugs and the Police Authority.
The park was named by Stacie Gammon, 13, from North Langney, who won a council-organised competition.
