Pupils at a Brighton school are getting an extra day off while repair work continues on a secondary school heating system.
There is only one boiler working at Dorothy Stringer School, which means most of the school has had to be closed.
Only students from Years 10 and 11 are able to go to the school today, although engineers are working to finish repairs.
The problems started last Monday but it has taken a few days for the equipment to arrive.
A Brighton and Hove City Council spokesman said: "We are doing everything we can to deal with the problem and apologise for any inconvenience caused."
There are more than 1,400 students at the school, which is due to break up for the Christmas holidays at the end of this week.
