Peter Turner scored an equaliser three minutes from time as Chichester held high-flying Oxted to a 2-2 draw in South Premier.
Despite a good start, it was hosts Oxted who went 2-0 through two short corner strikes from Callum Giles, the former Great Britain international and arguably the most prolific short corner striker of all times.
The visitors rallied and Henry Stremes, playing his last match after 17 years in the first team, reduced the deficit before half time.
Chichester played superbly in the second half and were rewarded when top scorer Turner fired in a short corner.
