A teenager was still in a critical condition in hospital this morning after a car crash.
The 14-year-old was travelling in a Vauxhall Nova when it collided with a blue Peugeot 306 at the junction of the A27 and Ivydore Avenue, in Worthing, shortly after 11am yesterday.
The Peugeot driver, a 19-year-old Worthing man, and the Nova driver, a woman from Arundel, 21, both suffered whiplash.
The teenager was taken to Worthing Hospital with serious injuries. The hospital said this morning he was still in intensive care in a critical condition but was stable.
