Brighton's West Pier has architectural, historical and personal significance which is worthy of significant investment.
While many (including myself) support this venture through the West Pier Trust, this is clearly not enough to secure the pier's future.
I ask all those so motivated to take the following actions (if not already done so):
Contact Ivor Caplin MP requesting action in support of restoration of the pier; contact the Noble Organisation requesting it desists with it obstruction to the restoration plans; and join the West Pier Trust.
On a personal note, I shall boycott the Noble Organisation's Palace Pier until such a time as it demonstrates a less selfish attitude.
