A company director escaped a driving ban despite totting up four speeding offences.
Ben Fry, who recently moved from Bognor to Lansdowne Place, Hove, admitted speeding on the A27 at Patching, near Worthing.
Police clocked him doing 93mph in a 70mph zone.
Fry, 27, told Worthing magistrates he was sorry and said he had sold his VW Golf and bought a slower VW Polo 1.4.
The computer consultancy director said he drove between 25,000 and 30,000 miles a year and losing his licence would result in great hardship.
He said: "We have had to let a number of staff go due to the recession within the computer industry.
"If things don't pick up in the next few months the company will fold anyway so it is vital I can drive to bring on board new customers."
Magistrates ruled: "We do find exceptional hardship and we shall therefore not disqualify you."
