An internet user is selling off part of the West Pier in Brighton to help the homeless.
We told last week how scavengers who snapped up pieces of the collapsed pier sparked anger by offering them for sale.
But Lucy Dobbins has promised to donate any proceeds to the charity Crossover.
The organisation is part of the Christian Outreach Centre in North Street, Portslade.
The starting price is £3. The piece of wood, plus two photos, are being offered on internet auction site www.ebay.co.uk, where pieces of the pier were offered within hours of its partial collapse on December 29.
Lucy Dobbins's pieces are listed as item 753577786 on the web site.
