Seaford overcame a bit of rustiness to beat Rye 27-0 and return to third spot in Sussex One.
Simon Baker's penalty was their only first-half score in the home game with Rye but Ben Cox, Danny Newby, Jason Pheasant and Stuart Webb all crossed after the break.
Baker added two conversions.
A youthful Old Brightonians line-up beat Hove Vets 41-21 in a club match, helped by tries from Seb Akillian (3), Dougie Edmonds (2), Adam Frier and Tom Howelly. Sam Howse added two conversions and Harry Major one.
Liam Leevey (2), James Finlason and Pete Allen scored Hove's tries as they lost 21-20 to Haywards Heath II.
