A woman charged with being a member of and raising funds for a terrorist organisation has had her case adjourned.
Songul Ozgur, 27, from Brighton, and five others appeared before Bow Street Magistrates in central London yesterday charged under the Terrorism Act.
The group is alleged to have been involved with DHKP-C, a Turkish left-wing organisation also known as the Revolutionary People's Front.
Some of the defendants are accused of transferring money from the UK to Cologne in Germany and Istanbul in Turkey.
Other charges include possession of magazines and other materials, including videos and posters, which support the organisation.
Susan Hemming, prosecuting, asked for the case to be adjourned pending further evidence.
The others defendants are Rory O'Driscoll, 29, and Allaatin Kalander, 36, both of Manor Road, Stoke Newington, north London; Gurkan Gur, 38, of Corona Avenue, Hyde, Cheshire; Selver Kapan, 30, of Upper Handa Walk, Islington, north London, and Birten Kalayci, 30, of Finsbury Park, north London.
All were released on conditional bail to appear again on Monday, February 10.
