Police were today sifting through information after returning to the scene of an East Sussex businessman's murder.
Officers spent Friday afternoon in the Caves Road area of St Leonards, where Michael Willard was fatally stabbed.
They spoke to passers-by and people drinking in the Fountain and Bo-Peep pubs between 4pm and 5pm.
Mr Willard, 63, was knifed in the back in the yard of Target Scaffolding and Plant Hire on January 10. He arrived at work with about £1,000 in cash to pay two of his workers.
Mr Willard, of Harley Shute Road, St Leonards, staggered back inside his office to dial 999.
However, he died within an hour at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
Police have put up a £5,000 reward and said Friday's operation was successful.
A force spokesman said today: "We came across several people who hadn't been spoken to before about this."
