A brave young policeman, Stephen Oake, has been murdered by a so-called asylum seeker, one of the many thousands arriving here without any apparent check for criminal record or health status.
A telephone poll taken on January 15 by Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 showed 87 per cent were against a war with Iraq and I am certain a poll on the subject of immigration would have the same result. What country in the world allows such people? We need to protect our country with the same single-minded determination the French do. Have any of the bleeding-heart liberals offered to put up even one of these refugees? I doubt it.
If our politicians try to stifle debate on this issue through political correctness, they will pay a high price at the next General Election and justifiably so.
