Bridlington maintained their unbeaten home record to dump Arundel out of the FA Vase
The visitors gruelling seven-hour journey to Yorkshire was hardly the best preparation and they were well beaten 3-0.
Arundel were slow to start and Bridlington almost scored in the second minute, Craig Burdick's effort skimming the bar.
Arundel keeper Andy McCarthy twice denied Jamie Richards with good saves and although Barry Pidgeon went close with a header, it was no surprise when Lee Harper's glancing header made it 1-0 midway through the first half.
Within four minutes of the re-start it was 2-0 when Phil Harrison's pass found Paul Palmer and he coolly shot past McCarthy.
The game was put beyond Arundel's reach in the 86th minute through Martin Thacker's penalty after a harsh handball by Jonathan Sutcliffe.
