As a driver who chooses not to own a car in Brighton and Hove, I was taken aback that council taxpayers will be expected to foot the bill for the removal and disposal of dumped cars (January 20).
Any such expense should be met from an increase in road tax or petrol or a levy on car sales. Why on Earth should non-car users pay anything?
