An exhibition should help Sussex companies race ahead by providing the latest information about the internet and e-commerce.
The Sussex eBusiness Showcase, which has been organised by Sussex Enterprise, is being held on January 29 at Brighton Racecourse.
Mark Brunet, information and communications technology adviser at Sussex Enterprise said: "This event is aimed at businesses at all levels of IT experience, from companies looking to develop their first web site to those wanting to find out about the latest technological developments.
"The IT industry is advancing at a tremendous rate and businesses need reliable advice to help them make smart investments, save money and gain the edge over competitors."
There will be a series of seminars covering the latest trends and issues in the world of e-commerce.
The keynote speaker is Liz Grant, director of the government initiative UK Online for Business.
Other seminars will cover the economy, law, marketing over the web, data protection and the future of the internet in the workplace.
