More than 200 people are expected at a thanksgiving service on Sunday for the work of Sussex volunteers.
The Cathedral of Our Lady and St Philip Howard, in Arundel, is the venue for the event, which will be attended by the Lord Lieutenant, Hugh Wyatt, Nick Gibb MP, Howard Flight MP and the Right Reverend Kieran Conroy, the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton.
The service will be hosted by the outgoing chairman of Arun District Council, Richard Dickinson.
It will mark the work of volunteers throughout the Arun district and praise the hard fund-raising work the community has undertaken for the St Barnabas Children's Hospice, Chestnut Tree House, being constructed at The Dover in Angmering.
Members of the public are welcome to attend. The service starts at 3pm.
