A man has been charged with trying to wound two police officers.
Leon Lugins, 29, of Charlotte Street, Brighton, was remanded in custody by Brighton and Hove magistrates today until February 5.
He is accused of attempting to cause grievous harm to two officers with intent, burglary at a hairdressers and with escaping custody.
