The Rotary Club of Arundel has helped send 1,000 pairs of shoes and 300 hundred T-shirts to Africa.
Club members are paying for the transport to take the clothes to airports in London after Virgin Airways and British Airways offered to take them to Zambia and South Africa for free.
The Arundel club was donated the clothes by Rotary members in Axminster.
The shoes will be collected and distributed in Africa by Mike Burn, a member of the Arundel club who is working on an Aids relief project in Zambia.
Another Arundel member, Peter King, will hand the shoes over in South Africa to the Rotary Club of Sun City-Mankwe.
